The Bristol suite, the inn’s largest accommodation, is located on the ground floor of the main house, just inside the back door. Bristol is a three-room suite that can sleep up to four guests. It includes a bedroom with a queen-size bed, a second bedroom with two twin beds, and a generous sitting room. Of course, the suite also includes a private bathroom.
The queen bedroom has lovely light, with nearly full length windows on the south-facing wall, as well as a smaller window facing east. The south-facing windows look toward the Carriage House and the stone church next door. The bedroom is painted a very pretty deep gold and has beautiful hardwood floors. There’s plenty of room for an antique dresser and a corner armchair, in addition to the lovely queen bed.
The second bedroom is also painted deep gold. The room is furnished with lovely, antique twin beds and has the same beautiful, long French windows facing south, toward the Carriage House and beyond that, the stone church next door.
The large sitting room is painted a deep, rich gray/green and is a very generously-sized room that offers a two-seater settee, as well as two armchairs and a convenient captain’s chair. The Bristol suite also has a drop-leaf table that provides a convenient work surface. At breakfast time, the server will open one or both leaves as needed to serve your party breakfast. The sitting room faces east and overlooks the back lawn of the inn and Court Street beyond.
The Bristol suite is very convenient to both the reception/sitting room and the after-hours tea service.
Please note in making your plans that the twin bedroom opens from the queen bedroom and not from the sitting room. The three rooms of the suite are separated by doors.
